At BUGGZ you will find a unique collection of kids wear. All creations are handmade in Australia by me .   I'm an impulsive sewer, so you will see new things popping up when I get an impulse to sew something!  There is no rhyme or reason to my sewing, I just get something in my head and go for it!   

I started up my wahm venture in October 2007.  I have been a sahm for 17 years.  My family always comes first.  This will mean that sometimes my shop may be bare!  As my youngest child has special needs which sometimes require me to give him my undivided attention for a week or two!   Sewing is my sanity saver and I love nothing more than to bury myself in my sewing projects.  I am not a qualified dressmaker, but I have been sewing for over 25 years now, so I am confident that my work is of a high quality.  

In my short journey as a WAHM I have developed a love of bug, animal and  sea creature prints.  You will find lots of outfits featuring frogs , sea creatures, dogs, other bugs and other animals!  Most of my printed fabrics are imported from America or Japan.   

My main focus will be on boyswear, having two sons myself and a baby nephew, I am all too aware of the lack of choice for cute clothes for boys.  I love to sew for girls too, and will include some girly stuff, but there is already such a massive amount available for girls!     

BUGGZ clothing is designed to be cute but practical, assisting with independant dressing for bigger kids and most importantly, all outfits are designed to fit over modern cloth nappies.  All pants have a simple elastic waist, and don’t feature bulky unnecessary pockets and zippers.
